Old Guy, but new to the site...

I have been lurking around on here for a bit, checking things out. I have been into mini trucks since 1986, and I am still doing it. I had a 87 B2000 standard cab that i bought new as a driver while I built my other truck, an old school datsun 620 pickup. But that didnt last long and my mazda became my project. It became a full on custom job, everything shaved, door handles, made custom push button door handle up by the windows. Shaved one windshield wiper,and shaved the wiper cowl of the vents. Did a ford escort headlight conversion, and graphted the escort grill into the stock grill. Added a B2600i hood. Shaved the tailgate handled and relocated inside the tailgate, did a custom roll pan with frenched license plate bucket...Side tilt bed, and frame was all smoothed and painted. Had a full custom interior. with a mild stereo system, 1- 10in Fosgate Punch 10 in a custom box behind the seats with the Fosgate Punch 150 amp built into the box. Woofer behind one seat, amp behind the other. All matched upholstered. to the rest of interior. Custom door pods, with mids and tweets ran by a Fosgate Punch 45 amp..rocked that little cab. Chromed GS Wed rims 15x7, yes, told you it was old school...Truck was built in winter of 89, and was featured in Truckin Magazine in 1990. But unfortunelty it was stolen in 1998.. Fun truck.
I am currently trying to work a deal with a former Club member that still has his truck from the early 90s. I would like to get that back on the road and do some old school cruisin..
I have been into the old school datsun pickup for the last 15 years and currently have, 2 custom datsuns..But I am really looking to get intoo another Mazda...I am from the Seattle area and I was in Showtime Minis, back in the in 90s..

Baha - the wheels look to be a set of the five spoke Enkei Aeronatics painted. All the factory ones I've seen were white but I've seen a few sets chromed. I've been looking for a set of the three spoke version since mine were stolen while on my MR2 years ago with no luck.

Hey welcome to the site. I always like looking at your blue Datsun 620. Very clean truck! Im in Magical Minis from Salem, Oregon. Im sure you know us and our trucks. But hopefully you get your old Mazda back. Looks like a clean truck too.
