hey guys just like to say whats up, and ask a few questions if i cant find them on here. i am mainly into datsuns, but i can find one, but have always loved mini's. ive had a few, a chevy luv, ram 50, 71 datsun 521, also have a 99 cavalier, and a 72 datsun 510. and in a few weeks a b3000. not sure what year it is, but it has the ugly front end, and i want to swap over to the older style. i think its a 1994 tho. i dont know if it will swap over yet, but ill find out on here i guess. it start right up and drives, but it seems to have a slight miss at low rpm's. but it seems to go away after 2k rpm's. think its something simple like plugs or wires or cap and rotor. but i was wondering how these v6's are for power and fuel economy and reliability? what are its weaknesses? is any thing compatable with the ford ranger? as far as body parts? cuz this truck hit a deer and needs headlights and a grille. it is lowered a little bit too. getting it for 500 bux. is there any easy mods i can do to it to increase the power, and fuel economy? this will just be my daily driver, plus a fixer upper when i have time, but it has to stay on the road. i will be planning on building a motor for it, since this has 260k on the clock lol so when i build the motor, i am wondering what i should put into it as far as parts? different heads, pistons, larger valves, rods, port and polish headers, intake, throttle body? what needs to bee done to these to make power guys? sorry for sounding like an idiot, but i have never built one of these motorss, i am more into datsuns . and is any thing compatable with a dodge ram 50? didnt they use the same 2.6 liter mitsu motors in some? cuz i have a spare motor with the balance shaft delete, and jet valve delete, with a ported and polished head. i dont know if it would be worth it to swap to a smaller motor, but i know that 4 banger moved along pretty good in stock form, never got to drive it after the mods. but i think if i do any swap it will be a 302. well i looking forwayd to the stay here.

the 94-up mazda trucks are all basically interchangeable with ford rangers. you won't be able to put the front end or probably anything else from the older Mazda trucks on yours without a lot of work. welcome to the site though

Welcome to the site Mazda Bs of all years are home here. It helps if you have pics when asking questions. I'm a Ranger guy so I can definitely help on the newer models but it would help to see pics. I'm not sure what you mean the ugly year I love them all lol

There isn't anything bolt on that will work from the d50 but that doesn't mean with some creativity it can't be done

Feel free to ask questions but you will want to ask them in the other forum sections, you will get a better response with the question as the topic title.

If you're used to 75-200hp she will have plenty of power for you. The 4.0Ls came in the Rangers, Explorers, and B4000s
