Whats up everybody? I'm Jeff and I have just taken ownership of a 1990 B2200 standard cab 2wd pickup that was in rough shape. It was parked on the side of a coworkers house for 7-8 months after he thought he blew the HG. The body is in pretty decent shape so I took it off his hands as he wasnt going to pay to get it fixed. Long story short, new radiator and battery later...she runs really well. Its got 135000 miles and the first time it was started there was a shitload of blue/white smoke, but after a minute all that cleared right up. The biggest problem right now is the AC isnt even trying to work....and its hot....DAMN HOT! I mean nut puddle hot! The fan works and the hot cold switch works, just the ac clutch never kicks in so I'm hoping it s a fuse. Any thoughts and help would be greatly appreciated. The other issue (broken radio) is already in the works. So hopefully my free truck will only cost me about a grand when everything is all said and done.

Welcome to the scene! Had the same problem with my a/c, had to run a toggle switch and new wire for it to work, best way to tell if its gonna engage is to take a peice of wire and run it from the + on the battery while the truck is running, if it kicks in you may have to do what i did. Just a suggestion.

And get some pics of your dawg up, we're picture whores here! lol
