but i do like the round headlights, and i like the older look so it is an idea that i will look into. it wouldnt be more than unscrewin a couple bolts either so i like it haha

I would start by shaving the minor stuff, and just gettin it totally detailed. super clean inside and out
get some cheap degreaser and go at it
like any bedside hooks and antennas and emblems, any gaudy trim, treat any rusted surfaces until yer ready to do a full paint job.
Remove any and all unecessary vinyl graphics or striping.

Oh and check out maztangs' ride its got single round lights and I love it, its got old school smoothies too.

oh yeah and polish the stainless trim around the windshield too

ther are other cheap retro style mirrors available that would look waaaay better on there

Those friggin things are huge and it looks like they finished the truck in the factory , then said oh shit we forgot mirrors, then somebody said they had some old tractor mirrors they were just gonna throw away and put em on there, lol

im gonna keep the hooks on the side of the truck tho...i like them but they will be painted with the truck when i have the money to do it...

and yes, i will be poilishing the trim alongside windows on it..

hey jenn... do you know if there are any 86-93s ext cab up in arlington? i need a driveshaft from tranny back to the rear diff, 2 piece from an ext cab. let me know if you can find out if there are any up there.
