drop the oil pan and you should be able to check the rod bearings from there

yea, i was gonna drop the pan with the motor in the truck b4, but with all the bracing and stuff ill prob just pull the engine and then check it out.

pulling the motor would prob be your best bet cuz then you can clean her up plus it makes it wasy easier to worl on. put that thing on a stand and tear it apart and see what the problem is

welcome.You should find all the info you need on this site.If I was getting a rebuild I would get a 89+ B2600i for the fact that the G6 mazda motor is a way better motor and the efi is also really nice.But if you like your B more power to you.They are fun trucks.
