New from TN

Whats up everybody, so I picked up my first mazda about a week ago been checkin out the site figured i'd join. I've been lookin for a mazda for a while finally got my hands on one. Story's kinda funny my friends dad has had the truck since i was a freshman. I've tried buyin it from him for years an he never would sell it to me. Well we go over there for his dads birthday last week, first time i've been there in a couple years. We get there an he still has the truck. We started drinkin an cookin out so i asked him are u ever gonna sell me that truck he said come get it tomorrow u can have it. Next mornin i picked it up an drove it home. Needs work but can't wait finally got one. When i picked it up he said it needs a muffler i said ok he started it up, very loud, so i pop the hood to check out the engine an it has a bright blue ford valve cover. Ok so this truck did come from a farmer couple miles outta town. The motor came out of a ford ranger not sure exactly what year. Think the motor is a 2.0 tho. needs a tune up but was rebuilt about a year ago when it was put in but the trucks sat in a field since then. Drove home good but the starter went out 4th day i had it. Got big plans tho i work for a body shop at the local nissan dealership so paint will be nice but long time away have a lot of work to do on the body. Would like some ideas tho. Heres some pics of the trucks when i got it home an after 2 hours of cleaning. Been sittin there since cause of work gettin a starter tomorrow to get it back on the road.

Whats up it's me mazda87 haven't been on in a while forgot my password an screenname so set up new account. Had some problems an sold the mazda well jus got my job back an bought my truck back. It's been in the shop ever since an i've been there everyday workin on it will start a project tread soon. I'm from Dyersburg for those that asked. Glad to b back on the bscene

looks like a nice truck to start with man...I just got my mazda too, and am also in Tennessee, Knoxville to be exact. Cant wait to see the build of your truck
