hey guys been wandering around the site for a while and figured i would join as you all seem to be a decent bunch
just picked up a 91 b2200 ext. cab, engine is toast but i got a SB merc 289 matched up with a c-6 that im going to throw in. fortunatly im a welding apprentice so i have lots of access to equip. should be a fun build. other then that i think im just guna static drop with a slight notch and shave the handles. pics should be up in a week and a half once i got her towed home and cleaned up a bit,
thx!

Welcome to The Scene, as they mentioned pics are always welcome. You will not hear much if any down talk on your ride hear. Only if it is a safety issue and you should be accepting of that. So post up some pics as you get them and have fun blowing hours of valuable time on this addicting site! -Ed

well the 289 ended up getting sold on me. not a happy camper so it looks like its guna be a standard bag and drag build. havent been able to get the dawg home though with all the shitty weather we've been having in calgary. But anyways i should be able to get some pics of the shop ill be working in, whats a thread without pics right?

Lethbridge eh? It's always good to see another truck going on air. Especially closer to home. I'm in Regina, and we are lacking painfully in minis around here!

Have you thought about any other directs you want to go with the swap? The Ford 302, Chev 350, and Mazda F2T are all common and easier swaps to handle. Writeups all over the internet. I'm in the middle of an F2T swap on mine. You are a welder, and thats about the only special skill you need for this swap so you've halfway there!

And there is no shortage of 1st gen Probe GTs layin around. At least not in Sask.

Oh yeah, progress pics bud!
