Im lookin for advise on the rims and seat tho, so im gonna go ahead and start new threads on those...

try some steel wool, or some aluminum foil.. just keep it wet with the foil, or it'll scratch it!

i think scratching i the least of his worries at this point...on the bright side you can get those wheels brand new at les scwabs for 25 each

Well thats not too bad at all!! I think Ill just clean em up best I can, and in about a month when Ive recovered from the under-the-hood work I just put into her ill grab some new shiny rims!

Just get those wheels powdercoated if you want to keep them looking good.Its not chrome but it would look better than the way they are now.Welcome to the site.
