Hi my name is joe im new to the b serries world i have a 88 b2200 regulair cab and it has 204000 miles on origenal motor and i want to up grade. what 4 cilinder motor can i use that is fuel injected that wont be exspencive to swap?

Welcome to the site. You could look into finding a FI motor from a b2200 or look into the FE3 swap. The FE3 came in the kia sportage and can be had for relatively cheap.

the motor that is in there now has like a tapping or ticking noise i cant describe it but its driving me nuts and i want to fuel injucted i know i can swap the head if its my valves to 2.0 head because the valves in the 2.2 are shit from what i here. on the fe3 how mutch wiering is there going to be and do i half to change any thing besides the motor and ecu?

check your oil as well. when the trucks are low, they start ticking.
