okay guys I have some questions. What is the main reason for flipping the ball joints? more drop / or less bind on ball joints. Also pie cutting the uppers is that just to help camber issues or?
I had a 87 sdime a couple of years ago, and had it dropped to the point of having 2 1/2" between the frame and asphalt. I seen these two mods on the s-10 forums alot but never did figure out the real point.

pie cut the uppers because the bj's will bind
and the bj flip is to get an inch lower without any negative effects

okay thanks for the info, I thought one was to eliminate bind just didn't remember which.

kind of a update on my truck: was going to buy my blocks for the rear today, but I have to go to Boise tomorrow to take a test to try and get hired on with Union Pacific. So I might pickup some over there they are bound to be cheaper in a real town. on a side note my truck drags import hook in the front every time I leave my house, probably the closest thing to draggin frame I will be able to do for a while.
