lower control arms?

first just want to thank everyone for welcoming me. so here's my first question, i have dropped lower control arms that i got a pretty good deal on. should i use them or stick with stock ones. i saw in one of these threads that the dropped control arms can make your bag twisted because of the angle, and said you need to mod the lower control arm for bag to work. sounds like a lot of work if there's not a big advantage to them. what do you guys think? right now i have drop spindles on the truck.
