84 chevy c 30 with 3" drop spindles 2" shackles. how do i get the ass down?

Flip kit! You flip the rear end up on top of the springs and more than notch the frame and change shocks or extend mounts one will most likely be to short and bottom out easy job you can do it in an afternoon soak your bolts down although it probably won't do any good so have a torch or a cut off wheel handy good luck you can buy a kit or thier easy to make.

Me. And I didn't say shooting down suggestions, I said shooting down his ideas. We can make suggestions. One would be, don't get rid of the flip kit, you need it to get the ass end down. That subject has been addressed already though...

I think you mixed me and him up. I am the one getting rid of the flip kit.

I didn't mix anybody up. I'm responding to his question and yours in the same post. Don't get rid of the flip kit. You need it if you want the ass end down. Or you're gonna end up hacking together your own home-made flip kit...either way the axle is gonna have to sit on top of the springs to get any lower than hangers or shackles could get you, and the flip kit gets you lower than either of those will, easier.

Wow. I just blew my own mind. On my other notebook pc with the jacked-up screen I guess I wasn't scrolling sideways or something and thought the initial messages about getting the ass down / getting rid of a flip kit were from the same person. Jeezzzzz.... OK, back to sleep for me...
