93..soon to be bodied chev dually

hey guys i have been lurking on this forum for a while but finaly decided to post

I have a 93 shev dually that is currently laying fame. I did just pull the motor to install a 6.0 liter and in the midst of all this i am going to start a stfbd. I do have a few questions tho

1 what size tube is everyone using for new frame rails?

2 what is the actual number i need to drop it...3.5"?

I used 2x4 1/4 wall tubing on my truck....but mine is a different bodystyle...just measure how far your rockers are off the ground....I went 4 inches with mine cause I wanted it past the pinch

I am thinking of doing 3x3x1/4...nmaybe even 3/8

have u had any concerns of flex?

mine hasn't flexed any....the 2x4 is stronger than the stock frame cause its boxed and thicker than the stock framerails....just add your crossmembers back in
