got a great deal on a 496 short block, so....

a few more goodies and out'll come the small block and in goes a torque monster.

im using the same heads/intake/carb/cam the 496 had and it was dyno'd at 593 hp at 5,900 rpm and 595 lb-ft of torque at 4,500 rpm.

a tad bit better than the 389hp and 372lb-ft tq the 350 has..

Ok so good news!
My dually is being towed to a sandblaster to get the firewall and front frame section all blasted and ready for paint.
Then the firewall and frame will be painted Porsche/grabber blue (like the old SBC)
Once that is done the new 496 will be going in and getting wired up.
Got a new T400 all nice and built up with Kevlar and high performance goodies inside. It
