they use the front disks of a 1 ton 4 wheel drive square body and if you want emergencybrakes the rear calipers from a cadilac eeeeh i think it was an el dorado , the calipers are eazy to find bit the handbrake stuff to bolt on the calipers are a bit harder to trace
there was a tread about the adaption on pirate 4x4 .com
i think the newer 1 ton pickups run disks in the rear as whell allthough i dont know if they still run the 14 bolt

Yeah, I have a set of calipers on my parts truck I can use for mock up, but I found a guy on E-bay that sells the Eldorados loaded with all the e-brake hardware and pads for $115. Likely to go that route.

nice , then you only need to make the mountingplates to hold the calipers , on the pirateforum they weld them to the axle but if you mix and match the single wheel axle and the dually hubs to make a c&c rear you might be able to bolt those to the stock flanges for the backingplates meant for the single wheel hubs

DIY4x makes a bracket for the Dana 70HD DRW that is a bolt-on affair.

i plain on using a rear end out from under a 2002-04 3/4 or 1ton single wheel.. they are 14 bolt and some have a better highway gear then the 410 gear.. but i also plain to run 22's..
oh and there disk already..

Been too damn hot to do anything on the truck lately, but I managed to get a little experimentation done in the interim.
I took another factory engine temp gauge and modified my cluster so I could fit it in the blank spot on the lower left. The plan is to use this as a trans fluid temp gauge. I still have to figure out how I

Very nice, I like the idea. It will look good.

Maybe put an outline of an engine and a transmission around the little temp symbol. Would almost look factory if done right.
