who has shortend there axles before?

how much will shortened axles run me for a 94 dually???

i hear you cant just cut them they have to be resplined??? is that true???

there is a simpler way to shorter axles the axles from a 14 bolt used for a single wheel 1 tonne are shorter from the factory it might be enough , read through this it has a lot of info on the 14 bolt
