Yeah, it's just sitting right now. I've hit a bureaucratic roadblock.
Here's the Readers Digest version:
The truck originally came with a 6 cyl. Shortly before I took possesion, somebody swapped in a 350 (I didn't know this until after I bought it). So basically, seeing as how it's a '79, it won't pass California's emissions tests because, as far as the State is concerned, it's a 6 cyl.
So...
I need to find a '75 or older (smog exempt) $500 parts truck so I can swap the cabs (VIN #) and use the registration from the older truck to register Maylene.
I know. Shady at best, but what are you gonna do...
So there she sits, in my garage, till a suitable parts truck comes along.
