dually bed

i have a 97 gmc dually i wuz wondering if a 02 and up bed would fit thanks 4 your help

what do you mean by fit??? im sure you could make it fit

i mean do u have 2 do sum mods or will it fit right on do u know if its ths same width as the cab thats the main thing

maybe lock will know about the measurements.. i havnt heard of anyone putting a newer bed on that bodystyle.. would like to see a pic of that

The 02 bed is physically wider than the 97 bed.

The only correct way to do it would be to deskin the 2 boxes and out the plastic 02 bedsides on the 97 bedbox.

After that you will have a cab with 1 set of bodylines and a bed with a totally different type of bodyline.

Then the only way to make the cab look right is to reskin the doors with 01-up sheetmetal and frontclip.

yea you might beable to graft but now u have to graft bodylines to match, seems like more of a headache to make it seem right

alot of work!
