updating the dash

hey wile were on dashes how are you smoothing them out as far as the plastic gose are you spraying on a lot of primer then sanding it down or do you spread mud. whats the secret

I took the plastic cover off of mine and prime, sand, prime, sand, and so on.

yep ^ like Trev said, just sand it real good, use a good high build primer, sand, prime, etc, until it's slick and the texture is all gone, and paint.....
