Sensor in air intake tube

I just installed a polished aluminum air intake on my 2000 454 but have a question on where to install the sensor that is in between the filter box and maf. Can it be mounted in any location in the tube? Factory had it mounted straight up at the 12 oclock position but i would like to install it more like at the 7 oclock postion so it is not so visible and more out of the way. 6 oclock would be perfect but thought about condensation or moisture in the tube possibly messing it up. I cant see that it would matter but figured i would ask before drilling a hole in a nicely polished tube in the wrong place.

i dont think it would matter at all, sounds like the IAT intake air temp sensor.... as long as its in there i think it could be in any position without a problem
