Im about to buy a bad ass 2000 chev crew cab with 454 and Im wondering what I can do to up the gas milage on this pig as i will be driving it as an everyday driver. Dont want to go broke looking cool lol
My 97 gets between 6 and 8 in town and between 10 to 13 on the highway depending on how I drive it. My 2000 did about the same.
I got an average of just over 13 Highway (Unloaded) on my 30 hr trip home with it.
Guessing it gets around 10 City (Not Verified) but I drive it like it's a Sports Car
mine gets at best 8 but usually around 6
Towed a 6 X 12 Enclosed U-haul from WV
back to TN over Thanksgiving Holiday's &
without using my OD I averaged 9.5 MPG.
(I have no idea on the weight of my load)
Ours over the years have averaged around 10-13 stock and different engine/performance mods have not changed the mileage any.
does anyone know what the milage on a 95 3500 with a TBI 454 averages? Towing my C10 to Forbidden Im figuring like 9mpg??
I have a 00 crew cab c3500, it has the 5.7 in it with 4.10 rearend, I get 10 to 13mpg, depending on how i drive it..
