I know this is a site for our duallies, but I also know there is a knowledgable bunch of guys on here, so I have an 87 Blazer fullsize, 4x4 4spd. I am considering replacing the old 305 and 4 spd with a late model vortec and 5spd trans. Anybody have any suggestions or know of any problems I may run into. Im hoping to find a truck thats been wrecked so i will have engine tranny tranfer case and wiring harness. I haven't seen anybody do this kind of swap so just thinking ahead.
