I'm looking for headers for my 88 crew but being the cross over year I'm not finding one's with the air tubes so I can try and make it 50state legal

the part numbers that I have are
edelbrock 66603
hooker 2826 but why won't 2841 fit

can some one help this dumb ass out

Mine I think were hooker. They didn't have the air tubes though. They fit like shit though. I can try and get a part # if it would help.

Small block. Sorry

I'm guessing you have a big block? I have the Edelbrock #66112. They fit great. They also have provisions for air tubes. The only draw back is they are a little pricey. $600.00

Pops had em on his '87. Air tubes and all.

I put hookers on it and did away with the air tubes but I'm having problems with the O2 sensor its not getting hot enough so its leaning out the engine has any one came across this problem and if so how did you fix it I'm thinking ceramic coating my headers

maibe putting in a preheated sensor

Ceramic coating should keep more heat in the header. They look a lot nicer also.

I think the preheated sensors only have an extra wire for power so that maybe would be an option. I don't know about calibration and what not on those though.

Mostly just answering to look smart and build my post count.
