Engine sputter

When my engine is first started after sitting for a while (hour or more) when you first take off it sputters for a little bit, then when it warms up its fine. I just put a new fuel filter, plugs, plugwires, distributer cap, and rotary button on it. Im clueless now, anyone have an idea

Diff. between Ford Chevy Dodge...Sounds to me like timing is off or a plug wire is breaking down.

my 88 1st gen fuel injection hates the cold, so it runs like crap till it warms up. my blazer is misfiring too, must be an automotive cold going round.
