For a while here like late 90's/early 00's there was that craze with doing a stripe of woodgrain done as a divider on a two-tone, sometimes it was woodgrain colored and sometimes it was more of a silverish color. It played out and you don't see it very often anymore, but to do one breaking up your two tone would look good if you took care to match the color to the existing real woodwork.
