This is definitely going to come in handy

Made some progress today, mounted the other tailgate I had, salvaged what I could and removed the rusty bumper.

Also salvaged what I could use from the old frame, the 20 year old me would not want to see it cut up like this but time to move on.

I broke a few bolts and got one stuck in the socket, seeing if putting it in the fridge helps.

Next up is to clean up the replacement pan and install the new oil pickup.

More progress, I am kicking myself, this pickup tube which the original I threw away, cost $164 to replace.

Alright oil pan reinstalled woot! I ran the hardware through my ultrasonic cleaner, not perfect but definitely cleaner.

Once I get it running I am going to see if seafoam helps clean up the top end. This engine hasn't ran in about 20 years.

I am liking my heated ultrasonic cleaner, here are some power steering brackets I cleaned up.

Alright valve cover back on.

Today's update, welp I wanted to get the 22RE running but I started to see the costs adding up to more than I would ever get back so I decided to sell it as is.

Now time to get back to the engine bay and prep for the V8!
