I hear of people lifting their trucks using hockey pucks, I'm thinking it might be very well possible to lower a truck with them too, thoughts?

In the place for lowering blocks?

Correct.

No, don't do that! Hockey pucks are made of rubber. You want a proper lowering block, made of aluminum or steel, for suspension drops.

Why do you think it won't work? It's a very hard composition rubber if there are 4 pucks per side I think it might hold up?

What kind of vehicle are you discussing doing this to? Personally I think you better have good crash insurance if you tinker toy this idea. The rubber, if it chunks, will leave you with having to maintain control, maybe at freeway speeds. Seriously, is this a genuine thread, or just a place to get people to click bait on your first posting?
