I about wore out eBay, Autotrader and craigslist looking for a truck, then this one showed up at a gas station within walking distance of my house.
It's a pretty okay truck, starts easy, runs / drives good. It was far and away the best deal out of the few squarebodies I found locally. Previous owner(s) used it to pull dirt track cars, so it's had a pretty easy life.
Bought the truck as a tow pig for my other projects. Plans are to catch up the service work, save as much of the original paint as I can, and start working towards getting it on some semi's with either a 5/7 static drop or maybe bags when and as I can spend the money.

Thanks guys, happy to be here.
My '92 Golf GTI, for one. Owned it for almost nine years, rebuilt it with the V6 drivetrain from a Corrado in '01, went turbo in early '05 then stripped it to a bare shell later that year when the motor let go. Hoping to have it back together by year's end - the hard part's done, just waiting on parts now.
I worked as a VW dealership tech for several years, so I can work on those cars in my sleep.
Always wanted a dropped crew dually, but never had a legit reason to buy one till now.

nice truck, welcome to the site. and you never need a legit reason to buy a dually. though, you will become popular with people who want to move things.

Ain't that the truth!
I like those bumper stickers that say, "Yes this is my truck. No I will not help you move."
