They dont. Those trucks are strickly show trucks. Trailered everywhere they go. APP was the only company that offered custom semi wheels that were DOT legal. Ive only seen one set in person tho.

wouldnt you just be able to put them throgh some kind of inspection process?

You mean the wheels? All the DOT sees is that the wheels have been modified, therefore, its integrity has been comprimised.

i personally believe that everyone on this site has had their integrity compromised.
