cutting rocker?

Thinking about cutting into my rocker a little bit to get the frame to fully lay out. When I cut it I dont want the body panels to split. How could I keep this from happening.

where exactly do they usually split at?

I shaved mine off a few years back,didn't like looking at the 1 '' or so of metal hanging down!
You should cut in sections leaving 3 or 4 inches attached between the cutoff sections until you have welded up the areas,then continue!
It was a pain welding this up with the cab on the frame,would be much easier with off!!

I folded the pinch over but now the rocker lays out before the frame by 1/2" I was thinking of just leaving it but Id rather have them both on the ground. So if I cut out small sections every few inches then weld them up you dont think ill run into the body splitting?

Yeah ,that's the way to do it,in sections & weld as you go !
