Those ends are 18ga cold rolled. Its easier to move the molecules around but in doing so its easier to get fine waves and deformities. But thats why im a fan of filing right before a final pass with the DA sander.

I wish i had literally ANY skill at all towards sheet metal. I just hate it, and suck at it.
