Yea, it blacks out the site untill you can clear the add. Mine says it can be skipped in 3 seconds, but once i click the x to close it, it loads for a few seconds, it usually ends up showing the entire add.

and every time you hit the back button to bring you back to the home page, it pops up again and every time i curse at it. So it forces you to use the "home" button.
Could it be changed to just a banner ad?

mine lets me skip it with no problems. it IS a rather annoying ad though. whatever it takes at first though i guess. its better than this site staying dead i guess

It plays for 5 secs, no issues for me.

I'm using Google chrome and I can skip it in 3 seconds and it doesn't come back when I go back. Glad to see the sight still going strong!!!
