Ok so I started this build up with the intentions of it being a simple lowered daily driver. That slowly changed then it got bagged. I drove it that way a couple of years until I paid it off. I was disgusted at the amount frame that shows when layed out so I then decided the only cure was a SFBD. So that's where I'll begin with the pics.
And that's where Im at right now. Im planning on moving the front lower control arm mounts out a little further to fix a little of that negative camber. Then I will build the trans xmember and bag mounts and weld it all up.

Today's going to be rough.. I was at the shop until 1am trying to finish up this trans xmember. I got it most of the way done. I still have to make the top piece that the actual trans sits on but the actual xmember itself and tabs are done.
Awesome project! I've seen the truck before. Glad to see you are body dropping it and putting an independent rearend in. What are you going to do with your old frame? Also, I saw that you have done a couple 1st gen S10's with colorado clips. Would you want to do another front end on a 94 GMC Jimmy? Still not sure if I am going to do it though.

Thanks man. I still have the frame sitting in the shop. I tried to sell it with the 6 link on it but most people don't want to swap a frame under a blazer so I'll prob just strip it, sell the 6 link or use it on another truck and take the frame to the scrap yard.
As for the front end conversion, I have done 2 of them. They are pretty easy to do for the most part and I wouldn't mind doing another as long as its not bodied on 22's, lol.

looks great man, there a book to read about how to set angles for the control arm mounts or they have to be a certain degree?
