Lets say I wanted to put tail lights from a car into the molded rear of a truck. The tails go all the way across the back on the car and have a slightly convex shape. That is to say the middle of the lights stick out slightly (1/2"-1" Maybe less, i wont know till i get one of the lights) further than the outsides. What would be the best approach to molding these in. Would I keep the panel straight, flush the middle and just recess the outer edges into the panel? or would you want to fit the panel to the shape of the light?

Pics of set ups similar to this or advice on achieving this would be helpful. Thanks

I not a professional, but I would find the light you want to use, make a bucket for it to sit /mount into & than cut out the roll pan /body to except the bucket & weld it in! The light should be removable in the event of failure or bulb replacement ,if uses them!
