any ideas or tips for front shock relocating? and if so what shocks to buy? i have never done it before.

Out back, you can put them anywhere.
Up front, on all my arm kits for these trucks, i put the shock right to the back side of the bag, off the site of the arm. Then use a relocation bracket for the upper. I normally just use the stock replacment shock from Monroe on these trucks.
