How are you getting around the DOT laws on the semi? Mainly the framerails and 4 link? Ive been dying to build something like this at chrome shop mafia but we have to follow strict DOT laws.

We aren't going to be pulling anything heavy, just a 40' featherlight gooseneck. We are going to get the lightest GVW tag we can get away with also. Do you work at CSM?

Yessir, one of the "boyz". I was wondering how you were getting by it. We had to have the fuel tanks on out "disorderly conduct" truck re certified after cutting the ends out and he still catches hell from DOT. Figured they would take one look at you and jump.

Here is a shot of the frame on the table in Porterbuilt's new shop. The cab should be mounted within the next 2 weeks.

Here are some updates of the cab in place. It sure makes it look better.
