Yeah, a couple people told me to replace my heater core with the dash already out. I guess they leak. This truck has 160k on it and it doesn't have any problems. I'll make sure to look into it more now that people are saying they are problematic.
yes that's true about the core but you could also look at the blower box. The plastic door that opens and closes tends to break on high mileage fords. It will make a really funny and annoying sound. It may save you another hell of a time taking out the dash again. Just a thought.
that ford is comin out sick bro love that front end wrk u did and conversion....i should of got a F150 instead of my expo FML....
I had to pull the dash in Jeff's expo to do a blend door. It was a pain. I would recommend to the spend a little bit of money now and do replace the blend door while it is apart.
Paint? nothing a good coat of armor all wouldnt have fixed... :)

have fun prepping Chad! :) I dropped the door panels off with The Interior Shop so they can get going on the fiberglass parts of them. Then they will be back for you to prep along with that awesome dash. hahahahaha
Pay extra and have him put it back in..haha. Looks great man.
The truck is almost finished up at Metal Assylum. I should have it back next week. I worked on the rear bumper over the last 2 days. I think it came out pretty good. I went back and forth with the idea of roll pan or leave the bumper. I decided to leave the bumper, but with some modifications. I ditched all the factory plastic, capped off the top, cut off the hump in the middle where a trailer ball would go, shaved the license plate light holes and shaved the spare tire access hole.here's a stock one for comparison
Looking good! All about the details!
I like the bumper & topper combo! Badass truck for sure!
