i did mine with 1/8" sheetmetal an 1x1...i used the shit outta mine, with no worries. but it does weigh a shitton like tre5 said

you could always test your skills on a sheetmetal brake and make your own ribbed floor lol

yea man i think you should just steal 1 from another truck. that would be the easiest way and the most cost effective, i would think.

Have you looked at local yards for one with trashed sides but a decent floor that is what we did for my dually. my floor was cut up I wanted a stock raised floor found one and presto problem solved.

Yea, around here it just wont happen. I have a very very good supply of scrap yards around here, there usually extremely helpfull, but a couple years ago, some law passed in this state, and about 90% of vehicles made before 1998 got crushed. So, the only beds you do find around here, are on complete trucks, and they obviously want a grip.
I did find a replacment bed floor from LMC for 450$ plus 100$ shipping. I really hate to go that route, but i may just do it, idk.

ill send ya some info. when i build beds i make sure i can throw a quad or bike in the back. even the beds with 18g floors

idk at tex mex i had 5 people and 3 in chairs in my bed cruisin around in my stock raised bedfloor in a fresh bedliner no more than a week old lol
