Not exactly. Same idea, different application. I drew up a real basic/generic picture, but have no way to post it.

Kinda, but you would do the same thing to the rear of the frame, just after the front clip.

Basically, the front of your frame (where your radiator sits), and the frame behind your clip on back (where your cab sits), will be on the same level.

I guess to simplify things, all your doing is raising your suspension clip so that the bottom of the clip is even with the bottom of your frame.

Make any sense?
