Looks real good, I think you need to put some black rims on that trailer though.

Nice truck...

I assume it's sporting a 24 valve??? need to roll some black smoke with the white!!!!

--------------------------------------------

Yea, 99 24 valve with under 100k miles on it. body was pretty rough for the mileage it has.

--------------------------------------------

do you know about the #53 block? it's the casting number on the 24 valve engines from 98.5 to 2002. the #53's are cracking on the passenger side of the block and leaking coolant. not all of the 24 valves are #53's. i believe the casting number is on the driver side. hope your truck is not affected.

cool!!Looks great!

Can you post more info on the 10" subs (like full name and specs)? thanks.

--------------------------------------------

They are vibe audio subs, they are 350watt rms subs, they are only single voice coil, I had them in the store and figured i'd try em out. they sound pretty good for single voice coil in a box underneath the seat. But for vibe they are on the low end. They make some nice dvc subs that I want to try out.

Thanks for the information. The complete package looks great!! BTW are you keeping those traler wheels? I would at least paint them to match best case swap them out for aftermarket if the budget allows.

Keep up the good work!:TUP:

Do you know if it's more towards front or back of block, couldn't see any numbers. But there is a lot of stuff on that side.

Its under the injection pump between where the oil pan bolts poke through. Edit-check above link

You will also want to keep an eye on fuel pressure. If you loose a lift pump, it wont be long before your replacing the injection pump also.

Man i hope the paint on the trailer works out for you. Weve NEVER had paint last on an enclosed trailer more than a year or so.

--------------------------------------------

What issues have you had.. Will be a good test for the products I sell for sure.

Had these products on a few trailers now for corvette central, didn't have any issues with those, one was done about 3 years ago. Also did work for a production company that had about 4 trailers painted, they were shipped out for filming about 3-4 years ago also, I haven't seen them since, but haven't had any complaints..

Will keep fingers crossed. lol.

--------------------------------------------

We had issues prepping. The finish on the panels was chalky and would come off on your hands. After we sanded and cleaned it we sprayed it and the primer would just chip off months later like it had nothing to bite onto. Another trailer a friend did didnt have the chalky base coat but the paint faded real bad and started spiderwebbing around every rivet head. It could be a prep problem on both our trailers but ive just never heard of many people painting them, more people will wrap a trailer before they paint one.

Very good info guys. I'll have to check it all out.. thanks.

As far as the trailer goes i'm feeling pretty confident, it was sanded down quite a ways with bare metal showing all over, and epoxy primed, not 2k primer. But we will see. keepin the fingers crossed.
