If you are body dropped and running a 22" with a 255/30? I know it will depend on offset, but is it doable without narrowing the axle?

Nope, you shouldnt have to at all, a +30 worked for me with a 265-35, and the stock rear end.

i have a stock rear end also, im running boss 329's with a +40 offset and a 265/35, i would think that anything more than a +15 would work just fine. but as far as clearing the front fenders i do not know. we had a hell of a time with mine. The 329's are not meant to fit on a 88-98 chevy with +40 offset. The dust caps stuck out of the center of the wheel almost an inch. We got some 1" spacers not thinking about fenders at all and the damn wheel would've been like a 1/4" from the fenders as i was laying out. I didn't want it to be that close so i had to get bullet style center caps from some hot rod site and make it work. Sorry that was so long just wanted to share my experience so you have more insight than i did going into the project.

cool. Thanks guys! I am planning on putting the 255/30 up front. I am under the impression you don't have to tub the firewall with that size, correct?

might have to "massage" the firewall a tad bit with a BFH. but no tubbing.

yep, a bit of massaging is required!

i had to narrow the rear end and tub my firewall... my wheels in the back have a bit of a dish though.... but as far as the firewall is concerned.. you may want to tub it if you plan on driving this thing low. and even if you dont need to narrow the rear end to lay it out you may want to consider yet again if you are going to float it when u drive b/c when u change lanes and turn or hit waves in the road..etc... things rub that wouldnt under normal cuising... my 22's rubbed the inside of the bed skin when i would turn even b4 the body drop.. if i were riding it low that is.... i hav the same size tire you are going to use and even with that tire there is alot of harnesses on the fire wall that have to be moved anyway so while youre in there, you may as well tub it a few inches to have ample room
just my $.02
