Probably no CES. The paint will hold me up from that also. Still needs your wiring skills and a full interior/ stereo.

Taylor, they are a 255/30R24

Looks good.

Did you make the pop up license plate?

Kinda. I bought one from AutoLoc, but then ended up changing it quite a bit and making my own plate for it. It's basically a power antenna motor and a universal window track. It would be pretty easy to make one from scratch, but the problem is the window track has a lot of slop in it because a window is designed to go up and down inside of the seals on the window frame. Without a frame like that to go into, it moves around quite a bit. I used some strips of sheet metal and pinch molding to try and keep it stable.

So are you happy with it after your modifications? I have been having a hard time finding one. I'm always strapped for time, so if I can avoid figuring it out from scratch, that would be best.

I don't really like it, lol. But that's what he wanted. I'm not interested in manufacturing them at this time. Like you, I am too busy to make them.

We made one from a small air ram and a tool

I thought about using air too. I would rather not use one, more simple = less problems.

It's still at the body shop. It was supposed to be done in August, so they're running a tad bit behind. Last story from them is that it is supposed to be out of there by the end of this month. We'll see...
