92 yota tranny member

she is now sitting on the tranny member i found one at cando but i think i can build one alot cheaper. has anybody cut off the stock mounts and reused them? pics would be great

build one. re-use the stock rubber mount and build it so the whole x member can be unbolted from the framerails to make dropping ur tranny for repairs easier in the future

Ya definitely make sure it unbolts. It really sucks to work on them if they don't come out. I have one one the shelf ready to go also.

build it, use the rubber mount/surrounding off the stock one. get some 2x2 and some angle iron/flatbar and go to town, take a couple of hours to get it installed depending tools you have and how fast you can get the stock one cut off.
