site question....

whats up guys? ok quick question. i am having a slightly annoying issue. everytime i reply to a post or make a thread ect.. i get automatically subscribed to it. which means everytime there is a reply to that thread, i get an email alert letting me know. the only way i have found to fix it is by going under user control and unsubscribing to it. its not a big deal , it just gets irritating. anybody have this prob or advice ect ?

I was hoping it wouldn't be to annoying, it's turned on by default. You can turn it off by doing this

In your user control panel go to -> Board Preferences -> click on edit posting defaults -> then where it says "Notify me upon replies by default" Change that to no, click submit and you are done
