79-83 ball joint flip?

I know they dont make drop spindles for this year. So do you flip the uppers and lowers? any info would  be great.

Flip both.

Swap the the 84-95 spindles brakes and hubs, then all you have to do is flip the lower ball joint so the taper faces up.

does the spindle holes have to be reamed if i flip them using stock/83 parts?
