Going to get right to the point....04 ram 1500 build on the way. I can do the whole Moser deal and shorten my axle. But today I heard talk bout useing a ford 9inch outa a early 90s f150. Can any one give me more details on this?. How must narrower is it, ect.... Some one told me my speedo might not work wtf? i thought the speedo thing was on the tranny?.

Well the bolt pattern is the same. '73-'90 F150 should be 58.75" flange to flange. Don't know right off hand what the width of a ram rear is. Your speedo is electronic, and the sensor is on the rear end. the 9" won't have a speed sensor.

I also have heard alittle about doing a ford rearend in the dodges, i would think you would want to make sure you get a 2wd one because the 4wd rearends usually measure a little wider.
