forgot to update them today.
Did a bit more work on the fabricated drop spindles. Just the weld time along up to this point has absorbed two full days.
I welded on the inside of each hub plate as well. Its a completely un necessary move, only because i will then put it in the machine and bore the hub out, and remove most of the weld. It gives it a very nice, completed look when its done, so its worth the extra hours involved.

When i design these, i design them in a way that they jig themselves together, and fall into place leaving very little room for error. I make sure each weld is accessable with my torch, and then obviously design them in a way which will be pleasing to the eye also, so welds are just not in random spots, and look like an after thought.
Heres the setup for tommorrow, its MIG welding from here on out, perfect fillets to throw heat to.
