Google Chrome

Has anyone else tried it yet or is anyone using it? I like it better thar IE or netscape but I cannot get DS to come up properly. when the screen is displayed I can see the main page and it works fine. when I click on one of the threads, it loads and I can see everything for a second or so & then most of the text & pictures disappear. I can still see all of the screen names and the avatars. also the buttons at the bottom of the posts (pm, im etc.) the actual posts are blank. I can sometimes see MY posts but not always. when I jump back to IE & log in it works fine. this is frustrating because I find that the google Chrome is significantly faster than IE but if it will not bring up DS I will not buy the software (I have a free trial version now). I spend a fair bit of time lurking here & not lurking is not an option, I would miss you guys bashing low & campy. has anyone else had this issue? or heard of anything similar? Baha, have you had any issues on any of the other sites you are involved with?

try firefox its completely free, and i have never found a site it didnt work with, and it works so much better than IE.

aw hell I thought youd found some low buck chrome outfit that was buying ad time frome google

Yeah it loads pages pretty fast, my friend and I think google has indexed the whole internet and thats why. I believe the issue has to do with java script. I'm performing alot of site upgrades in the coming weeks including upgrading to phpbb3.0 so that may fix the issue.

ya google chrome does the same stuff on my pc, I use Opera for most of my web playing

Do you like Opera? Are you using Windows or another OS?

I use it on windows machines, works well 99% of the time.
but I can right click and copy images that IE wont .also have an screen auto fit .
I use XP , but have it on my main pc w/ win2k.
it opens all my favorite web sites at once (with tabs) and has a user /password wand that save me from typing (great when you get old)
I like it much better that IE or Chrome, I use IE for anything that requires money exchange though, banking, bill payments, just for security

the widgets are cool too, you can have clocks on your screen,play chess, I have a gold fish swimming around
