whats your opinions of this

ok i know its not a dually but it might be a new daily for me

Im selling my 2000 chevy silverado 4dr long bed:
-454, fresh tune up,runs great
-4l80e
-2wd
-Air ride 2600# bags in front 3500 in rear.viair 380c compresser,dual needle pressure gauge,5 gal tank,
-alpine 12in tv
-8in kicker sub and amp punch front speakers(amped)
-New trans in may with warrenty
-newer tires
-red top
-phantom grill

ect,ect,ect,ect

if im keeping truck i would:
-change front shock config. one because of squeak and two because they drag on tire when at lock
-replace rear spring bushings on is about gone.
-have a paintless dent guy come out
-faster compressor
-replace rear shock
nice truck

i drive this truck everyday and has yet to let to let me down, i tow my car hauler with it and it runs great.truck now has steel wheels on it


says it is 1.5-2.5 inchs from layin frame and not sure on the rear if it is 4 linked or bag over leaf


and the last one is for all you lens lickers

my main concerns is it looks like rockers are crushed and y it ont lay 96xxx miles supposed to go look at it this weekend and if i get it i will convert

i like it..... what are NEWER tires????????? newer than my grandpaws on his orginal 52 chev or newer than my ole ladies on her new 4 runner

i believe a 3500 wouldn't be a bad daily dragger... i am torn between this and a excursion i have always had my heart set on bodydroppin a 4 door excursion over big wheels i found one for 5800 with a 5.4 100k on the clock... the truck is 7200

I like the long bed!

i thought it would be tight ot have a bagged daily longbed and then my bodydrop on the trailer LOL how funny would that be to roll up nextweekend in indy to pick up the blue beast LOL

looks like a decent truck. Sounds like its bag over leaf. And if it is I would change that setup.

But I'm fond of the excursion idea.

Is the excursion the guys on ssm?

That long bed wouldn't be bad. Just depends a little on the quality of the work done to it.

no never seen a bagged one on ssm.... it is located in Illionis jsut bone stock for now.......


supposed to check out the long bed tommorow if i rmeember right it orignially had a single bag in the bag but this guy upgraded it

I say get the white longbed, then buy a dually longbed and swap. Then you would actually have a dually.
