Inner wheel wells in the front of Ram

So i recently lowered my 02 ram, im running 22's with a 255/30/22 tire, im wondering what everyone has dont about taking the inner wheel wells out of the front, i dont want get my ecu wet is my main worry because i drive the truck in the rain alot here in washington

well took them out had to raise the ecu and do a little cutting still got some more to do.
